Dalam PRU ke 15 pada 19 November 2022, tiada parti atau gabungan parti-parti yang mempunyai majoriti mudah (112 kerusi) untuk membentuk Kerajaan. Pakatan Harapan (PH) yang memenangi 81 kerusi telah berkerjasama dengan Barisan Nasional (BN) (30), Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS)(23), Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GRS)(6) dan beberapa buah parti kecil (13) menjadikan jumlah 153 kerusi untuk membentuk Kerajaan.
